Method
- Pat steaks dry with paper towels.
- Combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme (if using).
- Rub mixture over both sides of steaks.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place steaks in air fryer basket, not overlapping.
- Air fry for 8-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway. Check internal temperature.
- Remove steaks and place on a plate.
- Top with butter (optional).
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
