Strawberry Santas

These adorable Strawberry Santas are a fun and festive treat, perfect for holiday gatherings. Fresh strawberries and sweet whipped cream combine for a delightful and easy-to-make dessert.

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries hulled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds for eyes

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry strawberries. Cut off stem end and top third.
  2. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  3. Pipe cream onto the base of each strawberry.
  4. Place the 'hat' on top of the cream.
  5. Add a dollop of cream on top of the 'hat' for the pompom.
  6. Apply chocolate chips or sesame seeds as eyes.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use very cold heavy cream and chill the bowl and beaters before whipping.
