Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger (optional)
Seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • optional Chopped green onions for garnish
  • optional Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Place chicken in slow cooker.
  2. Mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and ginger (if using) in a bowl.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken, season with salt and pepper, then cook on low for 6-7 hours.
  4. Shred chicken and stir back into sauce, then serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
