- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain.
- Brown ground beef with chopped onion and garlic. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, simmer briefly.
- Mix cooked spaghetti with ricotta, salt, and pepper. Layer half in a greased dish, top with meat sauce and cheeses, then repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add an extra layer of cheese or a splash of milk to the ricotta mixture.
