Meat Fondue
  • 1.5 lbs beef tenderloin or sirloin cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Assorted dipping sauces (e.g., béarnaise, garlic aioli, sweet chili sauce)
  • Baguette or crusty bread cubed

Method
 

  1. Prepare the meat: Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. Make the marinade: Whisk together oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic.
  3. Marinate the meat: Add beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  4. Prepare the fondue pot: Heat the fondue pot according to instructions.
  5. Cook the meat: Spear beef cubes and cook in hot oil until done (1-2 minutes).
  6. Serve: Dip cooked meat in sauces. Serve with bread.

Notes
