Ingredients
  

Noodles
  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles cooked and drained
Cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Other ingredients
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
Garnish
  • optional Fresh basil Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook noodles, then drain and lay flat.
  2. Mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread marinara in a baking dish. Spread cheese mixture on noodles, roll up, and place seam-side down.
  4. Pour remaining marinara over roll-ups, top with remaining cheese, cover, and bake 25 mins. Uncover and bake 10-15 mins until bubbly.
  5. Let cool slightly, garnish with basil if desired, and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the roll-ups rest for a few minutes before serving.
