Ingredients
  

Pita Chips
  • 6 whole wheat pita breads
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Fruit Salsa
  • 1 mango, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • 0.5 cup blueberries
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cut pita bread into wedges and separate into individual chips.
  3. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Spread pita wedges on a baking sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Cool completely.
  6. Combine mango, strawberries, blueberries, mint, and lime juice in a medium bowl.
  7. Gently stir to combine. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

For a sweeter salsa, add a touch of honey or agave nectar.
