Ingredients

Lobster Tails
  • 4 lobster tails 6-8 ounces each
Lemon-Garlic Butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method

  1. Prepare lobster tails: Cut down the center of the shells, being careful not to cut through the meat. Separate the shell and lift the meat, leaving the tail attached.
  2. Make lemon-garlic butter: Combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Prepare the grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). Lightly oil the grill grates.
  4. Grill lobster tails: Brush lobster meat with lemon-garlic butter. Place lobster tails on the grill, meat-side up. Grill for 5-7 minutes, basting with more butter, until cooked through (140°F or 60°C).
  5. Serve: Remove lobster tails from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality lobster tails. Be careful not to overcook the lobster, as it can become tough.
