  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons liqueur such as Grand Marnier, optional
  • Assorted dippers strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pound cake, etc.

Method
 

  1. Combine chocolate, heavy cream, and milk in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (or in a fondue pot).
  2. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in liqueur (if using).
  4. Transfer to a fondue pot and keep warm.
  5. Serve with assorted dippers.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate. Adjust the amount of milk to achieve desired consistency.
