  • 1 pita bread
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup hummus
  • 1/4 cup tahini sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • Pickled turnips optional
  • Hot sauce optional

Method
 

  1. Warm the pita bread until soft.
  2. Spread hummus evenly inside the pita bread.
  3. Add falafel balls inside pita.
  4. Top with cucumber, tomatoes, and lettuce.
  5. Drizzle with tahini sauce.
  6. Add pickled turnips and hot sauce, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately.
