Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 package (1 lb) refrigerated pie crusts

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker, then add carrots, peas, celery, and onion.
  2. Mix chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper; pour over ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. Shred chicken and return to slow cooker.
  4. Roll out pie crusts, cut into strips or squares, and place on top of the mixture for the last 30 minutes.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious chicken pot pie.
