Ingredients
  

Main
  • 3–4 cups leftover/cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 3 carrots carrots, chopped
  • 1 onion onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6–8 cups chicken broth
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried sage
  • to taste salt and pepper Salt and pepper
  • 2 small bay leaves bay leaves
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice

Method
 

  1. Add chicken, celery, carrots, onion, and garlic to crockpot.
  2. Pour in broth, stir in Worcestershire, herbs, salt, pepper, and bay leaves.
  3. Cook on low 5–7 hours or high 3–4 hours until veggies are tender.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice during the last hour, then cook until rice is tender.
  5. Stir well before serving and garnish with herbs if desired.

Notes

You can add fresh herbs for extra flavor or adjust seasoning to taste.
