Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- Melt butter, then mix with sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using, then pour into pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, cool before slicing.
Notes
For extra richness, add a handful of chopped nuts or more chocolate chips.
