  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup fruit preserves such as raspberry or apricot
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut puff pastry into 2-inch squares.
  4. Place a brie cube in the center of each square.
  5. Top each brie cube with a small dollop of fruit preserves.
  6. Brush the edges of the pastry squares with egg wash.
  7. Fold two opposite corners towards the center, pinching to seal.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with honey (optional) and serve warm.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a high-quality brie cheese. You can also experiment with different types of fruit preserves to find your favorite combination.
